This week’s Torah portion is “Eikev” or “Because”. Have you ever explained your actions by saying “just because”? Lots of people in society today are doing things “just because”: drug use, teen sex, abortions, and so forth. Rabbi Lansing all these things and more in today’s drash, explaining why the synagogue needs to build and nurture a culture of life.
